Maintenance of Your Instrument

  • Clean your hearing aid daily with a dry cloth either in the morning or at night with either a disinfectant spray or wipe.
  • Never submerse your hearing aid in water to avoid disrupting the circuitry. This includes showering, swimming and washing under a faucet.
  • Try to avoid from dropping your hearing aid on hard surfaces.
  • Always turn off and store your hearing aid in its case and remove the batteries when not using it.
  • Avoid overexposure to heat, such as the stove or oven.
  • Store your hearing aids in a safe place out of reach of pets and children.
